As we all know at this point the NBA season has been post poned and may be entirely cancelled sometime soon depending on if the curve starts to flatten or not. Here are some updates on what could happen if the season does resume though.
One thing that is almost completely confirmed is that the players would need training camps before the season would resume. I have mostly seen that these would be around 3 weeks long but it could vary depending on what happens. Although this may not be w-

hat die hard NBA fans want to hear, I personally think that it would make the regular season and the playoffs even better than it would be without.
Another possiblity is that the season would go right into the playoffs. This seems like the most likely. Tanking teams may rejoice knowing that the draft lottery will be coming soon, borderline teams may be mad about not having an oppurtunity at the playoffs, and top seeds also love knowing they are done with games where that could potentially injure players before the playoff.
Finally, the main question I've been wondering is, that if the season was cancelled, what would happen to player contracts? would contending teams with expiring contracts lose their players without a chance at the title? Personally I feel there would be outrage from contending teams fans that the NBA would have to have a solution. We all hope that doesn't happen though.
