Today (or yesterday by the time this is posted) the NBA announced that their official ball will no longer be Spalding and Wilson will take their place. This may sound irrlevant, but many fans are mad because of all the great NBA moments that came with that ball. I personally have the realistic Spalding ball and I know it's a good ball.

I and nobody else knows how the change in ball will affect players when the change is made but I'm sure most players will adapt just fine. At the start of the 2021-2022 season I'm assuming shooting efficiency will be a bit off but after a few games shooting will go back to normal.
Some of the biggest shots made with the spalding balls are what people are upset about when hearing that the ball is leaving the NBA. A couple of the biggest shots were Michael Jordan making his game 6 winning shot in the 1998 finals that closed out the Jazz in that series. Another one was Ray Allen's shot in the 2013 NBA finals that none of us have forgotten. I am really just intersted what this new ball brings to the NBA and all the great moments that comes with it.
